Hey all,

Over the past day I’ve had issues with both my airpods and my Bose wireless headphones on my Xs Max. There is a clicking sound on the receiving end of call. It’s super choppy and people keep saying they can hear a clicking sound.

Super frustrating. I turned the cell service on and off. Fixed it and then it started up again after a bit.

No issues when it comes to listening to music, videos. Etc.

Anyone else?

Sounds like an issue with your service provider. Do you hear anything when not using external Bluetooth accessories?

Try to reset all settings. I’m not sure if that clears up the Bluetooth stack but might help.
The first call today had a few issues but the rest of the day was fine.

Also turned off my phone, turned off WiFi, an used my watch S4 with cellular connectivity to take a call and had no issues on the AirPods.

Yep! My sister did. It’s like a clicking sound. It’s super weird. Not happening anymore. Doesn’t happen on the phone itself when I have it to my ear or speakerphone.

I think it might be a software issue with the Bluetooth stack. if reset all settings doesn’t help then try a restore.

Having EXACTLY the same problem with my new XS. People describe it as constant clicking or a "galloping horse". Goes away as soon as I switch from Bluetooth back to the phone for audio. Crystal clear on my end in both cases.

Did you ever find a resolution?

[doublepost=1566216245][/doublepost] I have an identical problem exactly as you describe. Sounds great on my end. They hear clicking. Did you ever find a fix?

Same issue here. It seems more common if I have WiFi on (call is through cellular, not WiFi). It happens a lot when I’m on conference calls and people tell me after the call- so I don’t get the chance to play around and fix it.
Anybody figure it out??
