iPhone Issue with Exchange calendars

Hi all, wonder if you can help? My wife has an iPhone Cs running iOS 13.1.2
She uses Exchange for work and finds that when she receives an invitation from a colleague, that person’s calendar is automatically added to her calendar list and switched on
We’ve tried simply deleting the calendar but it adds itself back in again.
Mia this an issue with iOS 13, or the way her company has set up Exchange, or are others experience this ‘feature’?
Any suggestions appreciated
p.s. the iPhone was reset to factory recently

Sounds like the colleague is sharing the calendar, not sending a meeting invitation.

It’s a University, so I think the entire team shares their calendars. The problem is, seeing more than a dozen calendars on an iPhone screen is a bit rubbish.
we can delete them but at least just comes back and switches itself back on again?
