issue with internet connectivity through WiFi for apps

I am wondering if anyone else is facing this issue.

Ever since i updated to iOS15 i frequently catch my self opening apps that require internet to work properly and notice that they are unable to connect to the internet and function properly. This while i am connected to internet through WiFi and everything works ok elsewhere (like opening a webpage in Safari). So i am sure internet is working fine.

I think this is a Wifi issue because when this happened to me a few times (in a different app every time) as soon as i noticed the problem i switched Wifi off and the app then worked fine (through the cellular connection).

This has happened to me many times although a few minutes later the app starts working normally again.

Also this has nothing to do with Wifi Assist.

Might be a bug?

I've noticed this too. Specifically in WhatsApp today, however I'm not sure whether this is a more general issue on their side or not. I believe that Whatsapp and Facebook have been down at various times today.

All my mobile devices take longer to open safari, and longer to open web pages within safari.

This has nothing to do with today's Facebook outage. It's been happening for days.

I also noticed it in numbers today. Periodically losing internet connectivity.

Looks like apps are somehow loosing internet connectivity through wifi

Bump! Anyone still having this issue? Still happening to me in many apps. Only way to fix is disable and re enable wifi.

I have this with the google app. Almost daily, very slow. Turning Wi-Fi on and off is a short term fix

Happens to me with 3-4 different apps. Turning wifi fixes this (through 4G connection) and also does re enabling wifi after a few seconds.
