Issue with jailbreak

for some reason my home button stops working partially. I can't go home but I can bring up my app switcher but can't go home. I have to respring just to get it to work and within 20 minutes it's back to doing the same thing. Does anybody have a fix for this or experiencing the same thing?

If your on the new semi-tethered JB try restarting your iPhone and leave as stock.

Then see if it works ok.

If jailbreaking is the problem, try unjailbreaking your device first with cydia eraser. Make sure to make a backup with icloud or itunes. Then rejailbreak.

Try removing some Cydia hacks to figure out what one is causing it.

Sorry to hear that. You were in a hurry for a fix and jumped too early on one of the first suggestions. Now you know...the advice here can be dodgy or incomplete. Gotta do the research.

cydia eraser is a good tweak something went wrong and killed everything. guess i just have to wait for a new jailbreak

never take a newbie advice before others can chime in.
Erasing and other restoring methods are best left for last.
