I have had this issue before. When I am trying to trying to type as soon as any word starts with T it automatically puts a number next to it. It’s typically 9 or a 6. It had stopped at some point. But it is now back with my 15 PM I got last week.

Example. T9) T6) Tried typing The twice.

Any ideas? Thanks. I had correct the words for everything. PITA.

How strange. I've never heard of this before. You could try;

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset Keyboard Dictionary.

now i see it

No need to reset.
Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Text Replacement.

You can enter a Shortcut (in your case “T” and then type in “T” again in the Phrase field

I have lots of keyboard replacements. A good one to make is your address. My shortcut is “adr” and the phrase is my complete address. Another one I have is my email address. My shortcut is “em” and the phrase is my email.
So whenever I type em, my complete email address is offered as a replacement.
Fast & easy!
