Issue with wifi syncing music

Hello all - new to the forum, and hoping someone has come across the same issue I am experiencing. I am running ios 5 on an iphone 4, and am having a small issue when it comes to transferring music wirelessly from my pc to my iphone. Now as far as the song actually transferring to the iphone, no problems there, however, if I try to edit any of the tags (artist, album, etc.), or add artwork it doesn't show the changes on the phone. I've tried syncing a few more times, but the changes still don't show. If you look at the file on my phone within itunes, everything displays properly. The only way I can correct this problem is by plugging the phone in through USB and syncing that way. Has anyone else come across this issue? I also had a similar problem this afternoon when I tried creating a playlist and dragging specific songs into this playlist. When I attempted to do this wirelessly, it would not allow me to drag the file into the playlist, however, once it was plugged in there was no problems. I've tried restarting itunes, as well as my computer, but still no change. I appreciate any help, thanks in advance.
