Some issues I've come across across after reverting back to Mavericks:

1. Once you update to Yosemite Beta, your iCloud Drive is activated, which is not compatible with iCloud.com. As a result, I've lost all of my Pages documents stored on iCloud (hopefully I will get them back if I reinstall Yosemite at a later date).

2. My computer no longer auto connects to a wireless network when it wakes from sleep or restarts.

3. The app store (and specifically software updates) will not load.

4. My user account on my Mac was switched from an admin to a standard account (fixed through the terminal, logged in as root).

If anyone has suggestions on how to resolve any of these issues, I would appreciate it.

Here's one person who learned the hard way not to install a beta OS on your main computer's main partition.

There's a note that says if you activate iCloud Drive your data will only be be accessible on Yosemite or later and iOS 8 and later.

As for the other issues, did you do a clean install of Mavericks and restore your data from a backup of your Mavericks install?

I restored from a Time Machine backup and had no issues at all.

As did I. I did format the partition it was installed to first (not the drive, didn't want to lose my Windows 8.1 install), and restored. No issues whatsoever. Looking forward to Yosemite, but the PB just isn't stable enough yet. Understandable, with it being a first beta, but I need stability.

That's unfortunate; I'm sorry that you've had those issues. How did you revert back to Mavericks? It sounds as though bits from Yosemite are still present...

Most recommend erasing the drive/partition that Yosemite was on, then do a clean install of Maverick from a USB drive.

Once done, use Migration Assistant to put everything back onto the Maverick drive/partition.

I have reverted 2 iMacs that way, with no issues what-so-ever (however I never switched over to iCloud drive since I read about the issues and skipped that)
