The image on Foxnews.com while watching Live TV is momentarily blurred before it clears itself up. I have contacted FoxNews and alerted them of this as I am ONLY experiencing it in Safari and not FireFox nor Chrome. Is anyone else having this issue? No the fix is not to use another browser because I prefer Safari.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I was using Safari at the time. I generally use Chrome as my browser but switched to Safari when I read your post.

Its momentarily blurred but clears itself up in about 5 seconds on my end using Safari. Chrome nor FF have this problem.

I'll do more testing with Safari later on today and tomorrow when I tune into Sunday service at First Baptist Dallas. You should be getting a clear picture as soon as you tune in. I generally watch Fox News but not on my iMac.

I get a clear picture on my appleTV, IOS devices, and non Safari browsers as soon as I tune in.

Its a problem with their site.

How can it be a problem with their site when it shows okay with Chrome and FF? I just tried again using Safari and tuning in to Fox News on my iMac and the video is clear as soon as it appears. I'm using the latest version of Safari and Catalina 10.15.4.

I had a problem with the MLB site showing in full screen video once with Safari but in no other browsers. I complained and it eventually got fixed since I prefer to use Safari. They told me to temporarily use another browser for the time being but I did not want too since I prefer Safari. I just watched games but just not in full screen on Safari until MLB fixed the problem.

Full screen video requires a fast connection and a good video card. My iMac has a fast video card with 4GB of vram and my connection is around 100Mbs down and up. So perhaps that's the difference. But again, if it works okay with Chrome and FF, it should do the same with Safari. What extensions are you running with Safari? Extensions like Ghostery and certain ad blockers can slow a browser down. How about when you view YouTube with Safari, is it okay then?

No problem at all with YouTube and Netflix when I had it.

Take a look at the Console when loading their site. It has thousands of errors. Defiantly a problem with their site causing the browser to hang.

Not a solution but I find when I uncheck "Enable JavaScript" in System Preferences, Security that it does not freeze anymore. However not all of the little pictures come in either.
