Hi,

I currently have a MacBook Pro late 2010 running High Sierra 10.13.6, 8 Gb RAM
I've a Photoshop CS5 license installed and I wonder if replacing the hard disk for a SSD will provoke that I have to lose the current Photoshop License. As you may know, the CS5 license is perpetual, I don't have any plan for paying a monthly quote for upgrading such software.

The newest photo RAW files from my camera are big (46Mb each) and it takes really longer the editing process, that's why I'm considering the option about upgrading to a SSD

I'll appreciate your comments and suggestions.

Regards

Adobe software like Microsoft requires reactivation whenever you change hardware. Just make sure you have your serial number on hand when using CS5 for the first time on the new SSD.

A SSD will certainly give your 2010 MBP a nice boost in speed.
