Hello!
I have the newest model MacBook Pro w/ Touch ID and there is one issue I can't wrap my head around.
When on battery, if I press the Touch ID/power button to unlock my MacBook Pro, the screen flashes (as though it were unlocking) and then quickly turns the display off and re-locks. When I'm NOT on battery, I can just hold my finger on the Touch ID sensor w/o pressing and it unlocks. On battery, though, this is not the case. A workaround is to press a key on my keyboard and then hold my finger on the Touch ID sensor, but this seems like strange behavior.
Has anyone else experienced this? It seems that either holding my registered finger on the Touch ID sensor, regardless of power source, should allow me to unlock. Or, at the very least, I should be able to press the Touch ID button to unlock.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Edit: clarification
