MP 1,1-5,1 Issues with 2nd monitor

Hi All,

What could be causing this issue on second monitor? My specs here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you swapped the cables over between the two? Try to eliminate the cable as the cause.

Interesting the resolution has dropped a lot too. Does this display need any special adaptor like the Apple Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter?

I did swap cables and still getting same issue.

I had an adapter (picture here) for a small monitor before but notice that using (adapter) made the only resolution available to 800 x 1280. Without this adapter I do get all other (higher) resolution options but when I choose one of those image on screen breaks as shown on pic on first post..

Does the same problem occur if it is the only display connected to the system?

Do you have another computer (either Mac or PC) you can connect it to for testing?

p.s. any guidance/feedback on updating this 3,1 to Big Sur? Looking at OpenCore Legacy Patcher via @MrMacintoshBlog
