I just updated today to 3.0.1 from 3.0 on my iPhone 3GS. But I have just noticed horrible battery life (it drained like 30 percent with me only using it to text some, push off, location off, 3g off), and my texts are only coming through if I send myself a blank message first. I just thought maybe 3.0.1 did this. Is anyone else having these issues? And how can I go back to 3.0?

Also, this is off topic, but my silent switch constantly moves when the phone is just in my pocket. Can I get my phone replaced for this? It's really a nuisance.

Ive tried twice now to upgrade to 3.0.1 using redsn0w.

The 1st time my mail, contacts & calender options disappeared & I couldnt add any email accounts.

The 2nd time everything went better but Ive notice that while 'Erica Utilities' shows to be installed in my 'Cydia Packages', I cant find it on my phone.
Ive used BigBoss to check for hidden icons etc & everything is unhidden but Erica isnt even in the list. Ive uninstalled & reinstalled it several times now with no luck.

So are these just the various flukes that are happening because the JB hack for 3.0.1 just isnt quite ready.

Do I need to just realize that there will be these 'flukes' until the JB hack is better developed? Hopefully soon...

EDIT:

After reading another post on Erica Utilities Im thinking I may have Erica Utilities confused with Erica MIM. I take it there is a difference as EU is a command line, terminal type program & E MIM is a Graphic UI?? Is that right?

EDIT:

Ok, I see my mistake. Duh!

Im still wondering about the JB to 3.0.1 though. Is it still needing some tweaks to reduce the flukes?

3.0 and 3.0.1 are painfully slow on my 1st gen iPhone. There's a 2-3 second delay when opening apps, closing them, etc 2.2.1 ran great and fast 3.0 lags for me. But the landscape texting is a big plus and I don't need to buy a Cydia app for it. Hopefully 3.1 is a lot faster cause my phone has become a slug. I also wonder if it's because I'm using glasklart but I also ran it on 2.2.1 with no problems.
