I have a server in a home office location using OS X 10.11.5 El Capitan. My users connect back to that servers shares via AFP connections. We are attempting to implement permissions on the shares but cannot seem to get username and passwords to properly authenticate across the vpn connections. The only account that will properly authenticate is the default admin account.

The vpn tunnel is a Sonicwall SSL VPN connection.

I have confirmed that the remote network and the server network differ and can see each other.

Thanks for any help
