Issues with AirPods 2 in Monterey?

Just listened to a 30 minute sermon and on occasion would my AirPods cut in and out. The battery was good so this is not the problem so I am thinking there is a glitch in Monterey. Anyone else experience this?

Monterey, CA or Monterey, Mexico?
Also, the same happened to me in Downtown LA during 2019.
