Issues with Catalina.

Hi All

I have factory reset and reloaded Catalina - everything is working much nicer - but I still have some issues - wondering if its just me..

1. Time Machine - it runs but seems to take forever to do a backup that used to take 8 hours to run - I get its a total load - but even that leaving overnight used to work. Anybody having issues with Time Machine?

2. ICLOUD - what a nightmare - doesn't download everything - u have to load each thing individually before it works - plus emptying the bin - takes forever because the bin seems lives on the cloud rather than locally..

3. In Safari - doesn't show me the webpages that my other browsers on my other devices show..

Anyone have the problem? I get its a beta - just wish they would release Beta 2 already!

Having chosen to install the first beta, I don't expect you'll find a great deal of sympathy. If it's any consolation, I believe the second beta has historically arrived on Monday or Tuesday of the second week from the start of WWDC – if that trend continues, it should arrive tomorrow or the next day.
 
no had issues 1 & 2, as for 3, what pages? As I've had no problems like that.

I haven't had a backup complete since the first day of the Catalina install on the 10th, pretty much stuck at preparing backup. I've removed the inprogress file, rebooted, reindexed spotlight since that was hanging as well and also excluded some folders to see if that changed it. On Beta 2, it's still stuck on preparing backup.
 
I don’t see any of the issues with iCloud resolved in this Beta.

And I have the same issue with time machine too...

Did they actually Fix anything ?

The speed seems to be better, but this Beta 2 seems buggier. My music isn't working, and my notes still aren't syncing...
 
Yeah I agree totally... I was pretty disappointed actually for a beta 2 release !

When you say you did factory rest then reloaded Catina, did you restore a back up or start (and continue with/go) from scratch?

I am now on BETA 6 and still see the same issues. iCloud is especially annoying, since I have a lot of files there.
