Issues with icloud email?

Is anyone having an issue where icloud emails are not being received?

I've not had any emails since early this morning. Normally I get a 1001 emails within this this time.

I sent myself emails and they didn't arrive.

Just sent myself an email to an @icloud address and it near immediately hit my inbox.

Are you sure your internet is not down? Wifi can show bars to illustrate the connection to the router but if the router isn't connected to the internet, you'll get no email.

Thanks HSD. I checked my WiFi and all good there. Websites were loading and I could also send myself emails.

All rather odd. I'll go on my laptop later and see if emails are dropping in there.

Try logging into iCloud.com Mail (webmail) with a browser to see if "1001 emails" are piled up on the server but just not transferring to Mail (app). And/or try any other sources of mail you use (gmail webmail or similar).

Thankfully didn't have time to sort this out as it sorted itself out this morning 🤣 No idea what went wrong though.

Check the notifications for iCloud account again. Might’ve been turned off.

you checked the junk folder?

It wasn't that emails were ping into Junk or anywhere, they just weren't coming in at all. But the issue fixed itself 🙂
