Issues with iOS 5

I like the notification bar a lot, but have a few issues with iMessage in particular.

My buddy has a iPad and iPhone4 with iOS5. iMessage doesnt group his messages together. I get some a group of messages from his iPad and a group of messages from his iPhone. It doesn't specify which account is which in my messages, so now I can't really tell which one to use for his iPad/iPhone.

Also,
In the notification bar, why doesnt the icon for iMessages blue. It would be nice to see green icon for an ordinary SMS and a blue icon for a an iMessage.

hopefully they figure out ipad/iphone iMessage issue. Seems like the two should be connected so I don't have to guess which one is my friends ipad and which one is his iphone.
