well i went today to buy a mac LED 27 inch display and come to find out since im running dual ATI 5770, there is NO WAY to use this monitor. Man that was upsetting, there is no Mac Mini display port to HDMI MALE or DVI MALE, so this really rained on my parade. I have seen some of the FEW male converters out there and they just look cheap and nothing from a company I have ever heard of. So with that said, im looking for THE BEST LED monitor that is 27 inch, if someone could assist, I would appreciate it that is compariable to the quality of the 27 inch

I might be missing the point, but the Apple 5770s have dual MDP so what exactly is the issue?

If you do not want to use one of these cheap adapters, you then have to get a new video card with either a DisplayPort port (A DisplayPort --> mini DisplayPort adapter is necessary in this case) or a mini DisplayPort port.

Also, Dell and NEC have 27" hi-res displays that have roughly the same performance. You might consider to return your Cinema Display and get one from Dell or NEC. In addition, Samsung is going to release a 27" hi-res display.

What? The Apple 5770 has Mini Displayport. Not HDMI.

If you bought a non Apple card, you should have gotten one with Mini Display port.

The Apple 27" is really one of the best in class.

If you really want the LED display, sell your current card and buy one with a MDP.
