Well now I do:rolleyes:

I voted for program issue. For some reason I've had issues with the WindowServer chewing through vram, and I think it's why I've had to force-restart my mac a few times (but I can never be certain because I can never get into activity monitor to see what's going on once it freezes!)

Should have had an "Other"

Dust under screen
Poor color reproduction
Color banding

I want to love my MacBook Pro, but as a photographer it's hard to love a display that can't beat my 3 year old $800 compaq in terms of color reproduction.

I feel your rage I had 4 bad macs 3 macbooks and a 24"imac. i love macs BUT... bought a 499.00 Hp and it works perfect and Vista is great... will I go back to a Mac YES, but not at the moment!

All my problems were taken care of with one trip to the Apple store. They sent it in and it came back "healed". The problem with an app quitting was that the app needed updating.

There should be a user incompetence check box... that might take care of 50% of those negative votes.

I bought a refurb 1st gen MB a month ago, and it had multiple problems (wouldn't boot off the battery after being unplugged for more than 10 minutes; ethernet port wouldn't work on battery). Returned it and bought another refurb, so hoping this one doesn't have any issues.

I have the bug when you change the brightness from full or no brightness the screen emits a mosquito noise. I was wondering do I take this to the apple store and they fix it or send the whole mac back?
