Hey all,

For the first week or so I was using iTunes Match all seemed well.

Now this week I've started running into issues. Specifically songs NOT being played/streamed from the "cloud" on my iPhone.

I'll select a song to play, for example just now, In The Flesh (from The Wall), after a few seconds Now Playing is reporting that In the Flesh is playing but it's actually track 2, The Thin Ice.

It's not limited to just this album either, it's on several I've tried and not just track #1's.

It should be noted that I have updated my itunes to the latest version that came out today and running 5.01 on a 4s.

Anyone else seeing this?

Thanks

First, you have to understand that you are not streaming anything from the cloud. Apple goes way out of there way to let us know they don't 'stream' Whenever you play a song that is supposedly streaming, it is actually downloading it to your device while playing, so thats just one thing...

To the second worry....playing the incorrect song, is it the entire track that is playing and labeled improperly, album art misleading, or what, need some more clarification

As an addendum, it should be noted that iTunes on the computer *is* able to stream Match songs from the cloud.

Yes, it's playing the entire track labeled incorrectly and it's NOT the meta data. As I do have it labeled correctly in iTunes. Something on the "match" end is causing the issue.

okay and now another issue.

Ripped a lot of music today and copied them into iTunes. All are "matched" and appeared on my iPhone except one CD. Nirvana's Nevermind.

It's my on MBA and of course my iMac which acts as my server but cannot get it to show up on my iphone.

Anyone seen this? Again, Match has run and it shows to be Matched.

Thanks

if some music isn't matched, it has to be uploaded before your iphone can see it...if it is already uploaded, try turning off itunes match on your phone, then turning it back on.
