I have NFSC running on my SR Macbook (with Leopard) although the graphics are a problem.
The cars asthetics is very twitchy and the car is see through. i.e. i can see the wheels and rollcage. Also the environment is a mish mash of colours (mostly black) The game is basically unplayable unless you drive by using the mini map.

I thought this was because of the integrated graphics chip on my machine although i noticed a significant change when i installed 10.5.2 and the graphics update today. A major improvement! Now it is playable but still the colours and graphics are very jittery. and the car is still see-thru.

I don't seem to have any of the other problems mentioned in the forums; no black screen, no sound clicks and changing the config file did nothing.

I would like to hear any good advice, anyone else with the same situation or any links to fix/improve my problem..

Thanks in advance,
Hamish

i heard that all the ea games do not support intergrated graphics at all, so i would have thought you were lucky to get that far, sorry if im wrong but that was all over the place as it was quite 'controversial' news due to the porting process.

yea i thought that too but it was a gift so i tried it. Apples website states "Note: This game does not support the GMA950 integrated graphics card."

My macbook is the X3100 so perhaps it is supported? The updates are definitely improving the quality.

thanks for your response
