Numbers on my iPhone 15+ is not able to get the latest version of a spreadsheet I regularly look at. A error message appears in the iCloud screen with an icon. I DO NOT have this issue with my iPad however my phone is always on me and is more vital than my iPad for day to day use. I have tried all basic troubleshooting steps on iPhone and Mac to no result.

Assuming everything is on the latest version, next thing I would try is duplicating the document on one of the machines that opens it properly. Then try to open the duplicate on your iPhone. Longshot, maybe.

It’s not super intuitive on iOS or iPadOS, but go to your Files app

iCloud Drive (or On My iPad) -> Numbers -> (long press on) desiredfilename.numbers -> Duplicate
