Is anyone else having issue syncing in iCloud drive?

All my documents, when I go to look at them on my iPad, say 'updating XX documents'...left it overnight and it still did nothing.

I removed all of the documents and copied them back to see if that would fix it...still nothing. I signed out of iCloud on my iPad and my MacBook Pro and re-signed in to see if that would fix it...still nothing. Even went as far as reinstalling OS X on my MacBook Pro, but still nothing.

I've created test documents from my iPad, MacBook Pro and iMac, put them on my iCloud drive folder on all of them, and none of them sync. Can only see the each file on the machine that I created them on. Logged into iCloud online and there are no documents there.

The files aren't big either so it should have gone up straight away. I talked to AppleCare on the phone and they don't know of any known problems, but have escalated it. They said it might be an issue with my account...

Anyone else having issues?

I'm having issues this morning as well. I get file stubs, but they never finish downloading. Rebooted, signed out of iCloud and back in. Restored the CloudDocs folder from Time Machine. Repaired permissions on the boot volume. Nothing seems to help. Everything is fine on one computer, but it is running 10.10.3 beta (14D105g). It makes me wonder if there is some back end update going on in preparation for the full release...

Not running beta

I'm not running beta but still having issues. Looks like its working from my iPad and my iPhone now, coz the files showed up in iCloud.com, but when I look at the iCloud Drive on my mac, it shows the files there that are in the cloud, but it won't let me download them. Strange.

I'm having this issue on an iPhone 6 Plus and iPad Air, and it's been like this for four or five days now. It looks like a bunch of people are experiencing this, all around the same time: https://discussions.apple.com/message/27867330?ac_cid=tw123456#27867330

I've tried deleting all documents and turning off iCloud syncing and starting over from scratch, but that hasn't worked. Has anyone discovered a solution?

There's a discussion about this going on in the Apple Support Communities, too: https://discussions.apple.com/message/27867330?ac_cid=tw123456#27867330

Same problem for me.

Same problem for me. Documents will upload from my iPad but not from my Mac. First noticed on Friday 3/20.

interesting discovery

I created a test document in Pages. It would not save to iCloud.

I then moved it to my Mac desktop. Then, I opened finder and dragged and dropped the file from the desktop to iCloud. It uploaded immediately. I was then able to open on iPad and Macbook.

Unfortunately, modifications/edits, whether done on Mac, iPad or Macbook would not then save to iCloud.

Hmmm....

I have this problem too. Called Apple about it. They said it was a known issue, and that they would fix it in the next 24 hours. I will wait..

I discovered this problem the morning of 3/22. I started a conversation with Apple support that evening that lasted 3 hours and kicked my problem to "engineering". I haven't heard any updates, but I have been in contact with the support supervisor that sent my problem up the chain.

It's very frustrating. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one experiencing this.

I think my issue is finally resolved. I signed out of iCloud, and deleted the local copies of the cloud based documents, then I deleted Pages, Number, and Keynote and restarted my iMac. I reinstalled all three applications, then signed back in to iCloud. Files started to download right away. Just to test it I created a new document on another computer and saved it. Within a few minutes it appeared on the other computer.

I don't know if this was an iCloud issue, or a corrupt document preventing synchronization, but it seems to be working again.
