Just tried migrating from my MacBook Air to my MacBook Pro via a Time Capsule backup and everything came over fine without any issues. However, since then I've been having trouble connecting to the Time Capsule for the purposes of inheriting the MBA's old backup. I can connect to the TC just fine for wifi, it sees the TC on the network, and says in the menubar that the last backup was yesterday morning (which was actually done by the MBA before I transferred everything over) so it seems as though it "gets" that its supposed to back up to the TC, but every time I try to actually do the backup, it tells me the TC "can't be found." Also when I try to log into the TC via Airport Utility it just repeatedly asks me for the device's password over and over. I know it's probably just a bug and I'm not really too concerned, but just thought I'd stop by and see if anyone else had experienced a similar bug or it was just me. Thanks.

not really a fix so I apologize but I had a similar issue and it had to do with the name of the devices that was messing everything up. I ended up having to name my MB pro MB air because i moved from an air to a pro a few months ago. I was able to switch everything back to macbook pro(in shared) but now everything is macbook pro (2) and i try to change that but it reverts back after a few minutes.

Yeah, it's kind of odd. I changed my MBP back to my MBA's name and it still doesn't work. I think it's an issue of the TC accepting my credentials - in Airport Utility, I click on the TC, it tells me to enter my password, it does nothing, I click on the TC again, and it just says "enter your password..." it doesn't ever reject or accept it, but just does nothing.

And now that I'm thinking of it, this happened to me on Mavericks a little while ago too, but it just sort of resolved itself without me doing anything...hmm.
