I'm a longtime user of iStat Menus. I has been working fine for years.

The other day I noticed that my mouse battery status is no longer displayed in the menu bar. It is still in the dropdown menu. I also noticed that I am unable to edit the Time module. I'd like to show short months in the menu bar (replace September with Sept), but the Time module seems uneditable. You can't remove or add items to the menu bar display.

What have I done?

Why don't you contact their support? That's what I did when I had an issue and they were responsive and able to rectify it.

I did contact their support before I posted this, but I have yet to hear back from them.

I restarted the Mac and am now able to edit the menu bar clock, but the Magic Mouse still doesn't show up in the menu bar. It does show up in the drop down.

Thank-you. I had tried reinstalling the helper, but that didn't work.

File > Reset all settings.... worked, but I did have to set everything up again.

At least it's now working as expected.
