I am trying to install the gre flash cards on my iPhone but when I install iStudy and the gre flash cards through the installer and then I go to launch the iStudy app it opens the screen with the chicken in it then simply goes back to my home screen....any ideas?? Thanks in advance for the help

You gotta put more details in order to get better answer. What Firmware are you using? I have heard or atleast I'm experience the same problems as yours with "customize app" when running 1.1.3 Hopefully they can get that fixed soon.
If the app doesn't work, don't use it.
There are a million vocab apps out there you may want to try instead. One clever one is Flash of Genius: SAT Vocab. (I like it because it shows the latin and greek roots of the words so it actually teaches you how to figure out other words. It's SAT not GRE but whatever, words are words and it's only 99 cents.)
Anyway I wouldn't go nuts with one particular app for vocab study.

the only way to study the GRE is to do it yourself. Write out flash cards the old fashioned way. Make different piles for words you know, don't know, or need practice on.
