at first I thought " a glorified wheelchair" but for somewhere like Japan where crowding is such a big issue, it might be something that would be well received.....

and it can take you to the nearest coffee house, and let your buddies know....lmao.....

The Segway was supposed to do that, too, and we all know how well that has taken off.

In most places, I can't see something like that catching on. Can't drive it on the road, and sidewalks would be awfully crowded. If sidewalks are crowded now, imagine everyone taking up 4x as much space.

(Plus, you get to a coffee shop, and then what... Drive right in?)
