I had some problems syncing iCal with my Sony Ericsson K750i, I was adviced to re-pair the phone and ibook. That makes sense abd should have worked fine, but after I deleted the phone from devices, the iSync no longer finds the phone.
Strange thing is that I have already paired the phone using Bluetooth settup assistant.
Anyone that can help?

I've gone through four different SE handsets this year so I've had to remove and add bluetooth devices and re-sync each time. Even though yours is the same physical device you could also try the following:

1. Remove the device from your Mac and just to make sure it's properly gone, open up /Users/your_account/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist
- delete from FavoriteDevices and RecentDevices if it's still there

2. Turn Bluetooth off and on again (if you've had to edit the .plist)

3. Use the Bluetooth Setup Assistant to add it again

4. Open iSync and click 'Reset Sync History' (found under iSync Preferences)

5. *cross your fingers* and try to sync devices... hopefully it should all start working again... :)

Wouldn't hurt to Power Cycle the phone either. When my BT connections fails, this is all I need to do to get my phone to act right.

Hey guys, thanks for the quick reply.
What worked for me was deleting the pref. file + pairing from the phone, not from the iBook. Then turning my phone off and on
So thanks to all of you
:D
