Hi,
somehow it seems i have some trouble with my T610, or i am too stupid to operate this phone:
iSync works perfectly for the phone book, but not for the birthday-events, i programmed in iCal. They simply do not appear on the phone.
Another problem i have is with midi files from the web. I can upload them on the phone but they won't play on the phone, while other midi files (i digged them out from old Amiga times) work perfectly. Are there limitations to the midi files I can use on the phone?
Thanx for you help out there ...

Calendar synching for the T610 and T616 will only be available with next release of iCal and iSync; which should be happening very soon.

iSync, iCal, SE T610

Thanks VladDracul for your reply.
I installed new updates (Mac OS X 10.2.8 (6R73)) which have been released recently (iSync 1.2.1 (v117.1), iCal 1.5.1 (v616)), but my problem is not solved yet. The birthday events are not snychronised to my phone SE T610. Isn't it strange, that Apple advertises with the iCal sync feature for the phone and it is not working?
Can anybody help?

My bet is that, in iSync, you don't have the particular calendar that you want synced check marked. Open iSync, click on the phone icon, and a display comes down. At the bottom of the menu that has just come down, there is a calendar section. If you have "All" selected, it will sync all your calendars. If you have "Selected:" selected, you'll have to click a check box next to the calendars you want synced.

Hope this helped.

I own a T610 as well and the midi files that i have (around 1000 of them) work perfectly. Try one thing, go to www.myt610.com and try some of their ringtones.

As for iCal and birthday alarms... same thing here, i have them on iCal but they dont work on the T610. Only my iPod starts works with them. Weird thing...

it seems that the T610's calendar doesn't recognise "all day events" from iCal, they just don't show up regardless of which callender they are in.

Create a special calender and put B/days at 9:00am for half an hour, then they show up, but this won't work for extended events like holidays etc.

It's the phones fault, not Apples.

iCal, iSync, T610, midi

Thanks guys, for all your replies!

Does anyone know, why some midi files play on the SE T610 and some don't? I heard about that T610 cannot manage 64 instruments at the same time. So what are the specifications for a midi file suitable for T610, and how can I transfer other midi files to my phone? Maybe somebody knows a nice midi software for OSX suitable for this purpose, or some freeware midi file editor.

Has anybody updated the firmware on her/his T610 to improve the performance and/or for debranding purposes?

Thanks again guys!
