I just checked this on a windows 10 laptop and those web sites are full of ads. Well I just checked this with Microsoft Edge and those websites are hardly readable because of the ads and blocking the text making it very hard to read.

Or at least with Microsoft Edge on my windows 10 laptop those websites are hardly readable and very much so tomshardware site. I'm surprised tomshardware and bleeping computer being legit websites and well very popular among tech websites have this.

This is what it looks like on my computer. So it looks very unlikely I got malware than. I was well worried my router or iPad got malware.

Ah... now the penny dropped 🙃

I don't remember those web sites being that bad before and it seems before I got iOS 14 I had ads but not like that.

It possible bleeping computer and Tomshardware web site are just putting more ads now on their website. I think some people are thinking Apple is sending me those ads and lending to the thread title confusion.

You really did not need to create another thread. Why didn’t you just add to your previous one and correct the title? This one is going to cause nothing but more confusion. Perhaps ask the mods to merge the two?

Is there anyone here who uses bleeping computer web site?

Or tomshardware?

And know how the two most popular tech web sites started to post ads all over the website to the point the text is hard to read?

Also does anyone else here notice going from iOS 13 to iOS 14 there is more ads on the internet?

Well https://www.windowscentral.com/

Does not have all those ads like those web sites but there is a banner ad at the bottom hovering over the text.

This one https://askanydifference.com/difference-between-super-retina-and-liquid-retina/

And the tomshardware is unusable now.

There so many ads and pop ups it is hard to read the text on the web site.

It is possible those web sites have added way more ads now on the those web sites and I'm freaking out over nothing.

Why not use an ad blocker?
I have DNS based ad blocking activated on my Amplifi WiFi mesh and therefore am practically ad free on any device I use ;-)
