I changed to green icon on the browser. It is dissappeared on the top of the screen 5 second later when it popped up the green icon again. How do I keep the green icon on?

The window that you have in your screen shot is NOT a browser window. It is a window from System Preferences/Displays pane.
If the green dot that you mean is near the top left corner -- that window (Displays pref pane) does not show a green dot, because that window cannot be "zoomed".
Another way to say this: Some windows on your Mac will NOT show a green button, when that window does not allow that function. All you will see is the blank circle, telling you that function does not exist on that window.

Yep, no green dot in a System Preferences window. Open some other apps or a Finder Window. You see a green dot on them, don't you. If so, nothing is wrong, so there's nothing to fix.
