I thought of this idea for touchscreen macs and touch bar lovers (the very few people). Maybe for a new MacBook, they could feature touchscreen capabilities, with an apple pencil for the mac. The apple pencil will work with the touchscreen mac. Then, you could buy a separate touch bar to attach there for people that like that extra function. The little bump could also bring 3rd party accessories for creative pros.

I don’t think the current powers at Apple would do that. They’re adamant about keeping iPad and Macs separate, including touch input.

Good point, but what if they removed the touchscreen and just had the bump for touch bar and 3rd party?
