Canada EH!!!
I bought an iPhone 3G on the Canada release date of July 11, 2008. On July 1 2009, I noticed that the back of the iPhone cracked near the USB connection. So, I called Apple Care and they sent me a replacement!

Then, about 4 weeks later, the WiFi stopped working. Everything else works but the WiFi crapped out. When I called Apple Care they told me that my warranty had run out on July 11th and that there was nothing they could do for me. I said that I just received the replacement and that I thought it had a 90 day warranty. He said, no it comes with 90 days telephone support but the warranty only lasts until the original warranty runs out. I checked through my emails but couldn't find anything related to the 90 day warranty but I was SURE that I had read it or someone told me about it.

So, I called them again tonight. The guy asks me if my call is related to the call last month and I said yes it is. He said that my warranty had run out in July. Then I said, "I was under the assumption that all replacement equipment comes with a 90 day warranty". And the guy says, yes your right. Give me a moment and I will make arrangements to send you a new replacement. I needed it shipped before sending back the broken one and he even waived the $35 fee.

Geez ...... how could the first person not know about the 90 warranty!!!

I am SOOOO glad that I called back. The replacement will arrive on Tuesday and he said that it will come with a new 90 day warranty!!

Cheers.
