It ruined my Built-In Speaker

Sierra ruined my built in speaker. Everything sounds louder in 10.12.
I thought they fixed my Mac mini with this new OS, because it always had a low volume even at maxed.
Now my speaker is distorted even if I bring the volume down, which means it has a broken speaker cone inside. I dont know when or how it came to this, I just noticed it today.
Back in El Capitan and previous OS, I could hear low volume since its just a mac mini even if I max out the Volume slider. SUCKS!!!

So be careful of maxing that volume slider up in SIERRA!

seriously, sierra didn't break the speaker cone; the hardware hasn't changed, and itunes (is that what you use?) isn't louder than it was in a previous OS. check your settings, try headphones, or another speaker... see if it's distorting.

Seriously too. I did nothing. Well i could go on and on but nothing will change, the speaker is broken. All I did was install the OS and some apps. But i dont have any apps that can make the volume louder. I rarely even use my mac mini's speaker since its not loud enough. Sigh. Dont know what happened but i have to live with it lol. Ill try the PRAM reset if it comes back to normal. Been a mac user since 2006, I know macs. I just have no idea what happened. I just noticed it all of a sudden. Bad luck eh.

am not there to know what happened, so apologies. my point is, the OS shouldn't change volume levels, so not sure if it's coincidence that you noticed this when you moved to sierra, or something happened in software to 'spike' the audio level, or...??? anyway, hope pram reset helps. good luck!

Yeah got it. Clearly something happened that im not aware of. Lol. Will investigate about this matter and will report back if i can fix it. As long as its a software problem i can, just not a hardware prob. thanks man!
