Hello everyone,

We've got touch working on an external USB touch device @ macOS Mojave,
however, after updating to the latest Catalina beta, touch no longer works...

We were able to do single tab and double tab action before updating...

maybe Apple hate touch support for the macOS?

Device support often can change during a major update beta period.
You may see your device work again at release (or you may need to use some other technique to get that to work now)
And, Apple sells the Magic Trackpad, which if I recall correctly, is a "touch" device. Not likely that Apple would suddenly abandon the trackpad (or the trackpad on any laptop that Apple sells. Those are touch devices, too, IIRC. )

Or, you may have just been lucky to find something that worked. You might also find out that if Apple continues to move on a path to merge macOS and iPadOS, maybe by both having similar processors, that more device touch support (not less) may be coming.

What is the specific device that you were using?

Does it use kernel extensions? Possible that it's waiting on your approval in Security system preferences.
