Hey all

I'm going to Italy in a few months for a two week study tour. I'm going to be in Rome for most of the time, but will also be going to Cilento, Salerno, and hopefully Florence.

I've been searching on the app store for some Italy travel guide apps (mostly for Rome and Florence) but there are sooo many. I don't want to spend a ton of money, so I want to buy like the best couple of guide apps (whether they are city specific or for the whole country).

Anyone have any recommendations as far as the best paid apps? Also, if there's any free apps that are good, let me know and I'll try them out.

thanks.

Alas, I don't have an answer to your question, but I just want to tell you, if you can, don't miss Florence it's a great city. Tuscany for me it's the most beautiful region of Italy.
And if you have time, Venice deserve your visit too.

CIAO ! :)

thanks! I'm pretty sure I'll be able to make it to Florence for a day. Since im going with my college for a study tour, they have a bunch of activities and tours planned for us in Rome and Cilento/Salerno for the whole trip. We have one completely free day where we'll be in Rome, so I'm gonna try to take the train up to Florence for that day. My great grandparents came from Lucca, so I really want to see Tuscany. As far as Venice, it's too far away to fit a trip in there this time. I guess that just means I'll have to go back in a couple years :D
