hi all
got an old iMac (mid 2007)
no os is installed
once it is up, unable to reinstall os 10.10 (after log in to App Store, get an error item is not available)
do not have the install dvd
tried making bootable usb, without success
any suggestion ?

I do not understand what you mean by "once it is up" & "unable to reinstall os 10.10 (after log in to App Store" since the sentence above stated "no os is installed"? You would need to be running from a macOS to log into the App Store.

There are also people on eBay that sell macOS bootable USB installers.

Thanks for the fast reply
The Mac loads into recovery mode (I think)
There are four options restore from time machine, reinstall, help and disk utility
When I try to reinstall, Mac OS X 10.10, I am asked to log on with my Apple ID and after that, I get the error “item not available”
