iTheater delayed?

Does anybody know why the iTheater countdown is going up? Is there a delay or something?

Yes, they have delayed the project to the 9th Janurary - 17 days. Of course, if they miss the 9th deadline also, few are likely to notice.

I was reading about it in their forums. Quite astounded that they made the decision to put it back on the day it was due to be unveiled, like they didnt know it wasnt ready a while ago...

They could find their thunder stolen from Front Row 2.0 at MacWorld...

Isn't the project supposed to be open source? I don't see why any recent code has been released, there only seems to be a handful of devs working on it, you would think it wouldn't have these delays if more of the community were contributing...
