ITN has reached a deal with Apple to distribute the broadcaster's news and entertainment channel, ITN ON, available for free through iTunes, reports Press Gazette.

Sounds great, this is what the BBC should be doing too (only without the ads, because us Brits pay for the content already).

Well the BBC should be free on the UK iTunes store and then a pay per view or subscription based channel in the rest of the world (either that or it shows adverts).

Still it is a step in the right direction :).

I agree kinda, they should take your TV licence number (Have a limit per household) through iTunes store, and a minimal fee payable through paypal or gift cards etc as well as cards so that everyone can use it and its yours to keep with standard DRM. The fee i'd pay would probably be around 30p per show maximum.

God I wish they'd do that. ITV shows are pretty crappy to be fair. If it was channel 4 announcing this then I may be interested!

Like Cromulent said, its a step in the right direction. :)
