I just got an iTrip yesterday and I loaded all the stations and what not and I was just wondering if there's a way to keep the stations from playing. I've been messing around with my ipod/itunes to see if I can stop it but I haven't been able to yet.

I created a Smart Playlist in iTunes that has all my songs, except those by Griffin Technology and Called it Library PL. They still play when I do a normal shuffle, but otherwise I can just play the PL and have no problems.

I only keep 4-5 stations all which are far apart on my ipod. You really dont need all 50 or so on your ipod anyway... :D

Or, what worked for me was I installed all the stations, DLed to iPod, then set it to the station I would be using. Then, I deleted all the iTrip stations and all from my iTunes library and synced, which took the "songs" off the iPod. Finally, the iTrip was set to the frequency I wanted, and since once it is set it won't change until you program a new station into it, the frequency remains the same without the unwanted files on your ipod. Of course, you'd need to put them back on to change stations, but I've never had a problem, even on real trips when the frequency is actually in use in the area by a radio station. Though, of course, I might have just been fortunate.
