When you go into the App Store app, at the bottom of the "featured" section, you scroll down and tap on the section that says "redeem." There you sign into your iTunes account, and type in the promo code provided.

Although FYI, it looks as though all the promo codes have been used. I'll check out the free version though.

Its nice - but a shame its not been thought through for International buyers - date format needs to be reversible.
