July 6 - went to my local Apple store and made a reservation for a 16GB wifi iPad; told by the employee that I'd get it in 7 or 10 days

July 13 - received an email from Apple saying "You are moving up the priority list."

July 18 - no additional email from Apple yet; none of the local Bestbuy stores have it in stock

So, how long does the online purchase usually take from ordering to delivering?

Where are you located? (Apple Store of choice also would help)

You should be receiving a communication in the next 2-3 business days notifying you to come and pick up your iPad. Hang in there....it took me 14 days to get my lucky email.

Finally!!!

It took exactly 2 weeks. My iPad is syncing now. :D
