Pretty sure it's going to be the new software. Hope they have it up by the crack of dawn, think I'd like to jump on before the mass o' minions.

Guess we're gonna see how those big-:censored: server farms in Carolina will perform today, huh?

Considering Lion is coming out... anything could happen.

But it's a given that the site is down for Lion.

I'm wondering why the store needs to be down for Lion? Given that it'll only be available from the App store. They've already been in the process of updating product imagery to coincide with Lion w/out having to take down the store.

Will it happen today?

I went to check the online store, and it says it's updating, will it happen today? The long awaited MBA update? I at least hope so.

Why would the new airs come out today without any press event? Seems unlikely to me.

Could be 30 mins

Dev's are to move and merge the new code

2nd level QA test it

Once passed the head of department signs it off to go live

It's usually a lot longer than that, 2 - 3 hours is the norm.

It's only going to be a speed bump, events are usually held for complete redesigns.

Most Hardware Updates in the past like 2011 MBP.... were just in the store without an event.
Thats the way Apple does it, Only Hardware Upgrade (CPU, GPU, Ram) - no event
Real Product Update (Design, Sizes.....) - special Event
