Injuries? Accident? You don’t need to share, just noticed you were absent for a while there
I became very unwell, buddy.

I ended up jumping from the Humber bridge.

Fractured neck, fractured vertebrae, fractured fibula, broken ribs, blood clot on the lungs, but I survived.

Many people say that I am a miracle.

I'm taking my medication, now.

Thanks for responding, buddy, and I wish you well.

Oh wow, wish you speedy and full recovery!

Hang in there and get well!

Hey Tommy! We missed you! Hope you’re feeling better soon. Also, please remember to pause your rings on your Apple Watch until you’re fully healed.

To do this, open the Activity app, tap on your rings, tap pause rings, and set it to the desired time you’ll need to recover. It’ll not record any move, exercise, or stand data until you feel completely recovered.

Calories and steps will still be counted from your Apple Watch, so don’t worry about that!

Dang did you get surgery done to fix these broken bones and collapsed lungs 🫁?

I‘m sure pausing the rings is number one priority for somebody who jumped off a bridge… I‘m not sure if I‘ve seen something more inappropriate and ignorant being posted ever.

I’m not sure, but I apologize to you, BT! I forgot that Tom doesn’t do activity challenges or workouts with his Apple Watch as much. So it ain’t applicable for this tip I guess

I hope you have a great weekend and a wonderful new week ahead! 👋🏻

Luckily, no surgery required.

They considered it, but wanted to see how I was when I came out of the coma.

I just ordered the slate Milanese loop.

I think it will look good on my natural titanium S10.

I already have the silver one. The contrast will be nice.

Nice straps.
That’s a great idea! Wearing slate on natural titanium sounds awesome. Let me know how it goes once you get it!

I’m so glad you avoided surgery. You’re such a strong, 💪 tough cookie! Keep up the good work and always reach out if you need help.

A miracle indeed! Glad you are still with us and recovering.

Can I ask (please ignore if you don't wish to answer): it's been said that most people "who jump" and survive regret doing it as soon as they start falling. How did you feel?

Anyway, be well and be easy on yourself.

Not sure if you have heard of Beth Matthews, but here is a link to her blog https://lifebeyondtheledge.wordpress.com/my-story/ I think it might answer some of your questions. It is an incredibly touching story, told by it's victim.

I don’t actually remember jumping.

I don’t even remember walking up to the bridge.

I was on autopilot.

Thanks for your well wishes.
