It's about how Apple treats it customers, the very people who privide the revenue for their books. Dont get me wrong, I have loved Apple, but right now I am pissed. I have an 8GB iPhone that was purchased on launch day - but I stand nothing to gain whether or not Apple gives a $200 refund or gift card, my iPhone was a gift. That being said, it should be obvious that im not ranting about "my $200." I do understand that technology changes, and quickly. But people expect more from Apple, thats one reason that they have such a loyal following. But with moves like this, that is going to change. Apple will be nothing more than a small MS... I loved Apple because they take care of their customers, they listen to the consumer. It almost felt like club you joined when you got your first mac, not so much anymore - that image has been tarnished. I urge you to complain to those who can do something about it. Everyone on here can do little but pick a side in this arguement, and its obvious that the people who didnt buy an iPhone in the first couple months arent going to support those who did, make your complaint to Apple. Email them, call them, post on their forums (when they reopen). But dont just complain, let them know how they can fix it and make you a happy and proud Apple customer and supporter again. I dont want Apple to collapse, nor do I see that happening, but they need to know that they made a mistake, they screwed the people who helped them launch this product; and it needs to be fixed.
