I usually don't have many (if any) problems with beta versions but this one has been performing very slow. Like I can click on a program then literally go make a sandwich while I wait for something to happen. Is anyone else experiencing this?

It's betaaaa....

Try SMC and PRAM reset. Otherwise reinstall.

More or less... I have and SSD so it doesn't take that long but much longer compared to El Capitan.

Fantastical 2 for example: on El Capitain it took about 2-3 seconds to start - on Sierra it takes about 7-8 seconds.
But it really depends.
After I used CleanMyMac and removed caches it seemed to help a lot with the speed.
