i've been reading this in a few places..

I'm sorry for those who are well aware of the difference but video cards is something that i am not familiar with..

Thanx

P.S. I'm deciding between i5 refurb or the new i3 i am more interested in graphics power than cpu btw

The 4850 is likely faster but we can't be 100% sure until we know what the 5670 actually is (is it mobile or desktop and is it underclocked etc)

I'm awaiting a slew of benchmarks. There is a lot of new hardware in this refresh to check out. CPUs, GPUs and SSD!

Since the new iMacs are shipping today, these benchmarks will be available in a manner of days.

The 5670 Desktop:
775 mhz
128-bit
400 steamprocessors

The 4850 Mobile:
500mhz
256-bit
800 steamprocessors

The benchmarks I've seen on the 5670 shows that it is a slow dog,
the Ati 4770 usually beats it by a good margin.

Hardware.no posted a test where 5670 managed 14 fps in crysis @1680x1080 res... Imagine @ 2560x1440...

The desktop 4850 managed 26 fps. (I know the iMac has the m version, but the desktop has same amount of steamprocs, but are clocked 125 mhz higher)
