The iTunes update is avaiable via Software Update and the focus from this update is on the iTunes Match bugs...

I had installed the update here and the bugs from my iTunes Match still happening... And with you? Did the update fixed your bugs?

My bugs:

1)Missing some of my album artwork. In my iPad and in my Macbook, everything is ok, but in the iPhone some albuns dont have artwork.

2)Example, in the Album Love,Pt2 from Angels & Airwaves, some musics is matched but have 3 that is uploaded to server, but thats songs is avaiable in the iTunes Store, why them is not matched?

Thank you guys

Please, discuss here if the update fixed your iTunes Match

No, still as broken as before. Every time I delete music from iCloud it remains on my iPhone. When iTunes Match is enabled on my iPhone there are ~180 ghost songs with cloud icons next to them stuck in my Music app that cannot be played or deleted, while iTunes on my Mac tells me there are 0 songs in iCloud period. What is my iPhone seeing? I've done everything, toggled iTunes Match on and off, synced via wireless and USB, double tapped the Home button and quit the Music process, performed a hard reset, even restored the iPhone...

Obviously I have no way to access them or remove them or anything, since they should be showing up in my iTunes library greyed out with cloud icons next to them. Something is corrupted or screwed up on the service end, not mine. I was excited for a minute when I saw the update -- you know, because I thought I might actually be getting the service I paid for -- but nope, how presumptuous of me.

Thanks Apple, throwing away $25 to beta test iTunes Match is awesome!

Why not a "Reset my iTunes Match" option? WTF Apple, fix this please... $25...

Let me explain better... For example, in the first time that i had runned my iTunes Match, it takes a long to match all songs, with the bugs that i explained in the topic... ok, i delete all the songs, and when im runs the iTunes Match again, it takes 5 minutes only... So, if you delete your songs, it will not be deleted completaly

Same here. I dont see much of a difference with the new version. I still have

-Artwork not showing up
-Some iCloud statuses are blank
-Random songs in the iTunes store not matching even though all other tracks from the same album match
-Last Played not updating with songs are played on on Apple TV, iPhone and iPad

Same issues here - does not seem to recognize certain songs (though it recognizes other songes in the same album).

This is my major issue with the current implementation... I don't like having 12 of the 13 songs matched and available at 256kbps while 1 song is still 128kbps.

I'm having issues with iTunes Match too... I joined here partly because I wanted to see if other people are having similar problems.

I bought iTunes Match under iTunes 10.5.1, and while it did match many of my songs, I still had over 100 songs that should have been matched but were uploaded instead. I bought iTunes Match because I wanted to upgrade to higher-quality iTunes files, so this was frustrating to me. The files that failed to match are in the correct format and encoding, and the songs are available on iTunes.

I e-mailed Apple support to ask for help with the problem, and they intentionally misunderstood the question to try to avoid answering it. (This is not the first time Apple support has done that to me.) I persisted and told them that if they are not going to address the issue I asked, then they should give me at least a partial refund. Of course, they refused to do that.

When I upgraded to iTunes 10.5.2, I was hoping it would successfully match more songs than 10.5.1, and it did - three more songs, to be exact. I still have over 100 songs that should have matched but didn't.

I turned off Auto-Renew because I'm not planning to buy iTunes Match again next year. I can't decide whether I should try to pursue a partial refund for the $25 I already paid. I did get matches for hundreds of songs, which is still a good deal, but the bottom line is, it's not the deal I agreed to when I signed up for iTunes Match.

I'm a fan of Apple in general, but if they can't make iTunes Match work more like they advertise, then frankly I believe a class action lawsuit would be appropriate.

For songs not matched have iTunes create an AAC version of the song. Remove the old songs from iCloud and try re-matching the song. 80% of the songs I have tried this with that I know are in iTunes have worked for me. Give it a try and let me know how it works for you. Only takes a minute or two to try it.

Thank you for your reply. I already tried that and it just re-uploads it again and puts in back in "Uploaded" status.

10.5.2 New Issue

So I bought a new song in the iTunes Store today and come to find that my library has no record of it anywhere in the Music Section. I can still locate the song in Purchased, but it will not show in my main library even with a search. Then I went a made a new song in GarageBand and added it to iTunes. It shows up in the playlist I sent it too, but again it does not exist in my main Library, or under the album that I added it too. I updated iTunes Match, closed iTunes and re-opened it, and even did a computer restart to no luck. Then I switched to Windows via Bootcamp and had to update iTunes Match after all my music was greyed out (annoying). After the full update of iTunes Match it showed everything in my library including the new songs.

So, why the hell does the Mac OS X side still not see these in the library? 10.5.2 has just caused more issues. I know this is newish service, but the quality of Apple is usually way better than this. Amazing enough, Google Music is free and easy to use without all these syncing issues!

Also, my iPhone will randomly stop playing music in the middle of a playlist while I am running or just listening casually. This service needs extreme attention to detail if my money is going to Apple.
