I was listening to a Take That album from My Music (don't judge), and it looked like it always does, then I changed the window to Chrome, and when I came back it looked like this:

What the hell? I thought, and started clicking through other artists, and Depeche Mode artist view looks like this (i.e. like what I am used to):

I swear the Take That "page" did NOT look like this when I clicked play, it changed as I was doing something else. How is this possible? Why does the Depeche Mode page not have the "All/My Music" switch? They're hardly some unknown underground band. My iTunes is 12.2.1.16 build. I am not connected to iCloud and I have no Match. What the hell happened? I don't think a stealth iTunes update happened without telling me...?!

Clicking "All" takes me to the Apple Music page, by the way. (Which is something I kinda like, there is finally real integration happening between My Music and AM.)

That's my favorite album of theirs. :p

It has been doing that randomly since the day iTunes 12 came out. It took me like 50 times flipping back and forth between Safari and iTunes to get it to do it just now.

It's not a problem with your library or anything like that, iTunes just has issues.

Happened to me a couple of times as well.
How I figured it works:

The moment you open an artist section in your library,
iTunes starts searching for that artist's profile on Apple Music.
When it finds the exact match, only then does your library update
to the new lay-out including header & bio information.

Opening Chrome specifically had nothing to do with it,
just wait long enough while viewing any major artist in your library
and the lay-out update will occur.

The Frank Ocean page is being interesting. It had the bio note and white background. I noticed it's sorted as "frank ocean" for some reason, so corrected the spelling and whoa -- the page became black and a photo of Frank showed up. Then I quit iTunes and opened it again. Page is white and there's no photo.

Add to the ever-growing bug list I guess. At least this one is fun, made me go up and down in my library and click artists to see if they have pages with biography and photo.

Edit: The Take That page looks like this now...
