hi,

Was on the pb when Itunes started prompting with the message the iPhone cannot be synced as require 12.2. I have windows vista which isn't supported by the new version and question is once I upgrade to the GM will I not be able to sync via iTunes anymore ? I downgraded to 8.4 in the meantime. Any replies appreciated..

How can that be ? I have been able to sync both wired and wirelessly to my iPhone 6 running iOS 9 GM with the latest public release of iTunes. I believe what one can't do is restore the device without first putting it into recovery mode. I know that not being able to sync used to be an issue before Apple started they're public beta program for iOS.

Yeah but I can't update to 12.2.2 as requires windows 7 or higher, so I am on 12.1.2 not the latest public release.

Transfer purchases doesn't work with iTunes 12 and iOS 9.0 GM or 9.1 beta 1 and this will be addressed on or before September 16th.

There will be a new version of iTunes released for Windows and Mac - it will also add support for the new iPhones. I am unsure if it will fix your problem. My source is my Apple Senior Advisor.

Hope so, can imagine a scenario of losing phone and having to resync to a new phone and can't !!
